The Greatest Lesson Learned

Lessons.

When was I never not learning? Literally every day is a learning curve for me but sometimes I fail to realise this and end up missing the lesson, if not, the whole class!

I’ve learned to be more aware of my surroundings, my actions and really observe every circumstance that happens in my life, whether good or bad.

Looking back, most of the lessons learned were in my testing and trying times. However, when many of us are going through our trails we get so overwhelmed by the backlash of negative energy and the emotional state we may be in, that we don’t take the time to see that this could be used to our advantage. That there is a light at the end of it all. It’s only after, when we are calm and not so overcome by emotions that we are able to access and look back. This is called being a human guys.

The best lesson I’ve learned is not leaning on my own understanding, but, to trust in God continuously.

When I was younger, that’s all I knew, to lean on my own understanding. That’s what I thought was best for me, because as most young people think, “We know what’s best for us”.

However, as I got older I started to really appreciate the wise guidance from my elders. Not only appreciate it, but crave it! I grew to realise it was good to seek advice every now and then. However, I got so caught up in seeking help and advice from man/humans and never sought help from God.

This is where I went wrong.

Learning to lean on God has really paid off. Instead of stressing I now go to my father who is able to answer all my prayers.

“If you have time to stress about it, you have time to pray about it”.

With Love
